What data is available?
We have data on all power plants and balancing authorities in the United States. The project started as a better FERC EQR research tool, but it has grown to include other electricity based data sets. All data is either updated daily or weekly depending on the data set.
Where do you obtain your data?
All data on our website is currently obtained from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
Can I download the data?
Yes. All search results can be downloaded in CSV, Excel, or JSON format. The number of records downloaded at once is dependent on your subscription level.
What are the terms of subscribing?
Payment is due at signup. Active accounts will be billed monthly/quarterly/annually until the account is cancelled. You can cancel / re-activate your account at any time within the dashboard.
